Controller for cooling towers water treatment

The measurement and control of cooling water or cooling tower water is important for proper system operation. Algae growth and corrosion of metal parts in the cooling water system are minimised with the right dosage of biocides and inhibitors. Controlling pH, redox or chlorine is done by driving a dosing pump. Emec has various dosing pumps available for this purpose.

MTower 2Ch / Plus | Measuring multiple parameters in addition to conductivity

A separate MTower is required for each parameter. For controlling multiple parameters, the MTower 2CH or the MTower PLUS is recommended. For the correct dosing of chemicals to the cooling tower water, it is initially very important to control the correct values. Using the right electrodes, the Emec MTower can measure and ultimately control the following parameters, including:
  • Conductivity and pH
  • Conductivity and ORP (Redox)
  • Conductivity and chlorine
  • Conductivity and tracers
