Can I use the dosing pump I have for other chemicals as well? Perhaps you can. But it is important to check this carefully (or have it checked). A pump with a PVDF pumphead and viton O-rings, for instance, can be used for many chemicals. However, if you start dosing lye with it, the pump head will leak very quickly.
