The Emec AMS-PLUS 03-40 EP 230VAC is a robust and versatile, horizontally mounted, magnet-driven metering pump from the AMS series. This particular model is designed to provide both constant and proportional dosing, including level control.
In constant mode, the pump delivers a fixed quantity of liquid. In proportional mode, it adjusts the dosage based on an external signal, such as a pulse (e.g. from a water meter) or a 4-20 mA current signal. This makes the pump ideal for applications where the dosage needs to be accurately matched to process needs.
The metering capacity of this model is 40 litres per hour at a maximum pressure of 3 bar. The 'EP' designation in the name stands for the materials used: a PP (Polypropylene) pump housing and EPDM seals. This configuration is particularly suitable for dosing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite (chlorine) and caustic soda, as these materials offer excellent resistance to alkaline and oxidising agents.
The pump features a manually adjustable stroke length (from 0 to 100%) and electronic control of the stroke frequency, ensuring accurate and reliable dosing. The pump comes complete with an installation kit (suction filter with float, injection valve and hoses) and has an IP65 protection rating.
