This powerful and flexible IBC dosing unit is equipped with the Emec Prius D MF, an industrial motor-driven dosing pump that excels in reliability, capacity and versatile control. The pump is mounted directly on a sturdy mounting plate on top of the IBC container, creating a compact, robust and ready-to-use set-up.
The Prius D MF is designed for applications requiring both high dosing capacity and external control. The pump can be controlled via various external signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-10 V or pulse, making it suitable for integration in a wide range of process environments. In addition, the pump has extensive functionalities such as a batch function and input for water meters, enabling dosing per unit volume or in fixed quantities.
With a maximum capacity of 1000 litres per hour at 5 bar, this plant is suitable for dosing larger volumes in, for example, water treatment plants, CIP systems, food industry or chemical processes.
To complement the system, an optional suction lance can be supplied, specially designed to operate through the lid of the IBC. This facilitates container changing and ensures neat and closed suction. In higher-flow versions, it is sometimes technically impossible to feed this lance through the IBC lid due to the hose connections. In such cases, the system is adapted with an alternative intake solution.
The system is delivered ready-to-use and can be quickly implemented on site. Combining high capacity, precise control and plug-and-play installation, this system offers a reliable solution for large-scale dosing of chemicals or additives.
